| Ann Arbor Machine, a builder of special high production tools since 1985, has incorporated many of its special capabilities into its latest machine shown above. It is a dedicated EDM machine that uses magazines for part loading and unloading, a vision system for part orientation, twin EDM heads and multiple precision fixtures for high through put and automated unattended operation. Once per shift a fresh magazine of blank parts is loaded and the magazine of completed parts is removed |

The Micro EDM drilling system uses the most advanced EDM technology with the capability to EDM holes from 100um to 900um (or 0.004 to 0.035). The hole size variation is maintained to +/- 2.5um (or +/- .0001), surface finishes down to 16rms and taper down to 2.5um (or 0.0001 of an inch). This keeps variations in the final fluid flow to a minimum making the parts more consistent. Ann Arbor Machine EDM technology monitors the EDM process in real time and can reject parts that dont meet the target requirements. |

| This particular machine is designed to process three different size parts with minimal change over required between parts. With this design the change over time is reduced by over 60 percent. Machine uptime studies performed by customers show that Ann Arbor Machine Company EDM machines have an uptime of 95% or better |
